I have the occasional dark circles under my eyes and first tried powder which works well but I have a tan colored lipstick that I tried once. Is this a good idea? It matches my skin tone and hides the dark parts that I don't want shown. Can lipstick be used as an under eye concealer?
If it works, hey whatever! But they have Under Eye Concealers which will probably work a little better. Can lipstick be used as an under eye concealer?
I would not use it at all, lipstick is a type of wax and you will be clogging pores! Your eyes are extremely sensitive and the layer of skin is very thin compared to your lips and face. You may not see anything right now, but later down the road it will! Your best bet is a concealer and one that is Yellow toned if you have bad dark circles. Clinique has a great one called ALL ABOUT EYES or ADVANCED CONCEALER! If you need drug store Physicians formula is a product and have two sided concealers, one with the yellow to balance out the darkness and foundation to help with brighten and toning, giving a natural look!
I sugest you find a concealer that matches close to your lipstick. Lipstick is designed for the lips so the ingredients will differ a lot from a concealer.
feel free to check out my blog http://www.changingfacesbymay.blogspot.c鈥?/a>
i don't think so..try using your foundation instead
um it might make your face look a little shinny or greasy also it will rub off really quickly . there is this new stuff by revlon tho thats for darkness under your eyes. You can most likely get it at any drug store that would probally work a lot better.
